This is some good detective work. Well done.
The case of the missing birthday cake is still unresolved. The last time I tried my preferred cake it was replaced by a second-rate baked item when the post was submitted. This has been going on for a while.
I have resorted to a gaudy spinning cake which is more celebratory anyway.

Being an engineer nerd, I naturally had to check if ISO (International Organization for Standardization) had a document published for emoji.
Guess what? So there is script defined in an ISO document for each emoji, but from what we have seen what an emoji actually looks like is not strictly defined. Unlike those cute little graphics that light up on your instrument cluster in your car that leave wondering "what the heck does that mean"

ISO 15924 Codes for the representation of names of scripts, is an international standard defining codes for writing systems or scripts (a "set of graphic characters used for the written form of one or more languages"). Each script is given both a four-letter code and a numeric code.Special codes[edit]

The concept of emoji for unwritten languages just made my cerebellum explode.

And i can see it on my laptop but on my iPhone the 2 rows look exactly the same.

Now I’m curious as to what an italicized emoji looks like! I mostly surf on my iPhone; if it’s still called surfing 🏄♂️ …telling my age here 🤦🏻♂️)
