I ordered a pair of these today. They were on sale and in stock. Nice and efficient! I'm not sure how I'm going to use them yet. Most likely will try OB first.

Those look damn interesting. I bet they would work well in a scaled up Telefunken OB .... :D
 
What enclosure do you plan on building for these? Also, what drove you to buy these over some others? Any reviews?
 
Don't know yet. I bought them because I like large full range. Also very efficient @ 97. I think the drivers are somewhat new to the market. At least in the states. Look over at the Decware site. Randy and Steve are using them in OB's.

I like large drivers too. Last large driver I had was the Audio Nirvana 12" cast. It was very good and proved to be an end game speaker for the guy I sold it to. However I did just make a 12" Zenith purchase a few weeks ago. Still waiting to find time to swing by and pick them up.

Let me know when you finish these. I would love to hear them. Planning on tubes?

After reading the 15 page write up on the F-15's at Decware, I might be building a new Tube amp. I think the Aleph J will do really good with them too. If these drivers perform like he said they do, I'm in for a treat. lol
 
Seriously Steve seems to be over the moon with them. That's good to read and very encouraging. Makes me wonder what the other drivers sound like too. I'm definitely tuned in for this one.
 
Fedex finally decided to show up today. These drivers look very well built. They came double boxed. Quite heavy too. :) I'll have to get some mounting hardware. Then I'll mount them in the Hollow-Graphic test baffles. LOL
