When did you go to MC carts? Last I remember, you had the AT MM cart. Awesome either way and lovely system.....as always.

What are sdh 6 speakers ?

I have some EPI 100 speakers with new Human tweeters and refoamed woofers. I keep wondering if new human woofers would
give me stronger bass. Are you pleased with your woofers ? I added a 2 ohm r to the tweeter to calm it down some. I also have noticed
there is little cone movement on my woofer and I assume your woofers have a lot of travel.

The bass from these drivers could not be better. They are in non-optimal cabs, which controls their output. In optimal cabs, the bass @ 30Hz would be close to flat, not 6dB down. But they wouldn't be as controlled. With the Telarc 1812, the cannon blasts shake the house!
Cabs are .58 cuFt and the woofs are 88dB per 1w1m @ 4ohms.

Thanks for the info. I have all vintage stuff & many speakers that I got dirt cheap. Maybe it's time to open the wallet &
pop for a pair of big buck (to me) Human woofers. The search for better sound is fun. I think ?

It looks like Human Speakers range from .56 cu ft (model 81) to 2.3 cu ft (model 81+). Quite a range.
I have to assume the 8" woofer could handle it and produce some very deep bass.
