I'm at the point now where, if I don't know what plant it is pressed at, or it's pressed at a plant with known questionable quality (like GZ), I'll pass. (That's for new pressings--the new old stock records I buy, or the rare used copy, of course are a completely different topic.) It does narrow the playing field considerably, but my listening is not 100% vinyl either. To me, it's a treat. I enjoy the music regardless of format.I'm convinced the problem is at the manufacturer.
