I'm in the same boat (and I don't take donations, idiot that I am). I have a couple of domain renewals in December, and since the forum software is on sale this month (I use the same one), I'm "stacking" a few renewals so I don't have to pay next year's rate after the price increase. I also have a really large forum upgrade project that I'm paying renewals on for the addons, as we need to launch it next month (I'll get reimbursed but still...it's an outlay). That's on top of the monthly hosting bills (as it's a cloud service, there is no prepay discount for a year; same with Amazon SES which I use for outgoing transactional email).

This stuff adds up, folks!

I'm still considering chipping in, though! Let me see if I'm not unemployed and homeless in the next week or so and I'll shake out the sock bin and see if there's any spare change hiding there (besides lint balls).
