RANT…..Audio as an Industry needs to do better

I made a hot pot of water this morning instead of coffee. I had even weighted and ground the coffee but the part where the coffee goes from the grinder to the coffee maker slipped my mind. In my defense I was up an hour earlier than I normally am.

I’ve done the same a couple of times. Nothing like a hot cup of water in the morning.

I swear that half the time I spend in the kitchen making dinner is either looking for things I bought that I'd put away and misplaced, or walking to the pantry, cupboards, etc. trying to remember why I went over to them in the first place. Making tortillas, I've walked to the dining area of the kitchen and stood by the window totally forgetting I walked over there to get the tortilla press. Or I'm a good one for getting dinner ready then, five minutes before it's ready, realizing I've forgotten a major side dish. I'll buy fresh produce and forget it's in the refrigerator until it's two weeks old and partially liquified, or has changed color to a strange greenish-grey-white.

Thankfully at this age, when we need to head to the bathroom, we don't forget why we're heading in there, especially since those trips usually involve some running and puckering so things don't move too soon...

Now git off my lawn while I charge my scooter. I'm heading to the:

I forgot to put the pot under the basket on my automatic drip maker...
Next morning I had a mess. 🙄
