I can’t say this is unexpected, but I’m definitely saddened by it. The greatest James Bond of them all, Sean Connery, has passed at the age of 90, after a life very well lived. Thank you for all the great times and great fun, Mr Connery. You will not be forgotten.

Connery is my favorite Bond also. He had that "something" that I felt the others lacked. The only misfire was the non-franchise Never Say Never Again film--I never could get into that one. But the others? Prime stuff. He will be missed!
