SET PCB - Who's In?

It's totally reasonable to not have the rectifier socket on the PC board. This takes a lot of pressure off the board in that spot from tubes being inserted and pulled out, and it also takes off some of the high amperage traces. An extra mounting hole between the front octal sockets would be a good idea.

It’s been so long, I can’t remember what the GSG boards were priced.

$26 sounds very reasonable though. Excited to get a couple!

Edit: Changed one to a couple. It’s what all the cool kids are doing. ;)

The G*S*G board handled this by having offset mounting holes on either side of the tube sockets - seems to fit the bill for minimizing strain on the PCB when inserting / removing tubes.

I'm into this, would order one at that price just to have around for a future project... Or if there is some momentum on the forum here while a bunch of folks are building I might just have to join in 😎
