System Pics

I see your listening room is now set up for Social distancing! Good on you, looks awesome as always.

Cleaning up the main room (moved three sets of huge speakers and tons of gear into the office room 2nd system area) in anticipation of my one of a kind Jon Anderson Shindo 604 builds which are almost done. It is very exciting times around here for sure.

Charles, you have a VERY cool set-up. Many thanks for sharing, so generously.

As your collection of gear would be an audiophile "wonderland" for many of us here on the Haven, I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to you sharing some thoughts on the comparative differences between your many different components.

You've obviously got a ton of gear, so I would be most interested in some kind of shootout between your very top favorites - in each category.

(I'm aware that it's possible - with so many precious "babies" - you don't allow yourself to play favorites... 😂 )

That Audio Technica is a great table. Have one with an Ortofon Blue cartridge. What phono stage are you using with the table?
Phono pre is a Softone Model4. You are right it's a great table and it wont break the bank at 500.00 new and with the addition of a Funk Firm Acromat it really sounds very very good!

Really liking your Burgess gear(and everything else!) especially the Gizmotron! About 45 minutes up Route 190 from Visalia, and you are at my favorite place, The Needles. Maybe you've hiked to the old fire lookout tower before it burned down? Tried the pea salad at the Ponderosa Lodge? Once I was broke down in Springville for a couple weeks across from the senior living center on 190. Dude had an older Westy and he let me camp in his front yard (in my Westy:)). I was also broke down at Dome Rock for about a month in March/April. :)
I am about 30 minutes north of Visalia

Up and running.... 65 pound Lenco PTP4 build with Fidelity Research FR24 MKII tonearm and Ortofon SPU GE MKII cartridge retipped by Andy Kim with a line contact nude stylus instead of the original elliptical stylus. Tiger maple plinth with upgraded bearing, long spindle, idler wheel damper, SCuM copper mat, and tool less speed adjustment knob from SPH, and Simone Lucchetti Audiosilente idler wheel .
