It's a shame I never went there while I lived in COManitou Springs CO. It's scary that a few folks in the area are starting to recognize me now. 😁
I wanted to move to this general area in the mid 1980s, and I've spent the last nearly 40 years regretting not doing it.
It's touristy to a point, as both the Pike's Peak Cog Railway and now the Manitou Incline are major draws for the town. But it still has a little of the Bohemian/artist vibe to it, and I won't deny that I've spent more than a few quarters on the arcade games there with family. It's a shame I never went there while I lived in CO
Didn't see a food-related thread, so I'll just leave this gluten-free pizza right here...

I've had great luck with the King Arthur "00" gluten-free pizza flour. Very easy to prepare and my better half can have pizza again. (We've tried a few local pizza places but she's gotten sick on them...not so much from the gluten but from whatever else in those pizzas has irritated her stomach.)
Not-quite-so-gluten-free for mine. We only use turkey bacon as pepperoni, ham, etc. irritates both of our digestive tracks. (Yeah, getting old sux!)

It was murky over here also, a bit heavier by the lake but still dense in a few pockets when I had to head west yesterday. Over here, visibility was less than a quarter mile.We have are having a foggy Christmas this year. That red-nosed fella earned his oats and hay last night.
That's what this one calls for. The dough is more like a batter before it rises, yet once it comes together, it gets that "stringy" look of dough with a higher gluten content. Once it's done rising, it has to be patted out to form the pie. I think I bake it about a third of the time (6-ish minutes) before putting the toppings on. But even after all the fuss, I was surprised at how good the crust came out--it wasn't exactly like traditional dough but was close enough that I'd eat it without reservation. And my family wonders why I hate living here...Grizzly Paw Brewery Canmore AB, Tank310 brew pub. A few nice beers sampled here (really liked their Evolution IPA), good food and the view...damn. 3 Sisters mountains in the background here.
