The coolest roundabout ever!

Drive a car that handles moderately well, call them chicanes & they become entertainment.
Rather fly thru a roundabout than sit at a light with no cross traffic.
Get that they are a PIA w drivers who can't/ don't know how to navigate them.
Or a 4 way stop that holds up traffic while everybody looks at each other waiting for someone to go.

I’ll give it a shot this summer and see how it goes. I’m not afraid of a 3 ton Escalade with an aggressive driver who thinks he owns the road behind the wheel.

My local roundabout is coming along nicely

Thats not too tragic. Only 3 rds intersecting.

The first few they made in WI, the traffic wizard underestimated the turning circle of tractor trailers & much hilarity (and roundabout damage) ensued. Rest easy tho - they were all rebuilt ..... at taxpayer expense - I guess it was all our fault???

Wit. I was 17 I used to just keep going round as fast as I dared till someone got sick of it. Imagine a car load of stupid teenagers.😎

We all went through that phase. At that age, we were invincible! 😇

These days, it's punks in their 350Zs drifting their way around the roundabouts. Or the blue-hairs stopping at each juncture in the roundabout, thereby constipating traffic in the entire area. 😬

I could still enjoy a couple laps with tires smokin 😊
I'm not quite ready for the blue hair moniker.

Me neither! 😁 I have a ways to go yet.

My grandfather was a hellion in the car when he got older. I remember my last ride with him, he had to be 80 or 81. Flew off the freeway exit ramp and applied the brakes maybe five inches before a stop sign. Nothing like the feeling I was about to become one with a 1978 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight dashboard!
