Today's Rock/Hard Rock/Classic Rock Playlist

@Muddskipper Tonight's The Night might be my favorite Neil Young LP!

@PunkerX I can remember sitting in line at the bank and hearing a very strange radio commercial for this LP, David Byrne just kept repeating the phrase "The Talking Heads have a new album, it is called Fear Of Music"

Hmmm....reminds me of the time I caused my associates to chafe and grumble by playing 'Once in a Lifetime' during a demo to extremely wealthy clients. I still don't get what the problem was.:)

Green on Red. Groundbreaking, ahead of its time, band that started and peaked in the early 80s. sort of paisley underground, sort of alt/americana, but really unique. for fans of dream syndicate and velvet underground. Had Chuck Prophet and Chris Cacavas in its ranks at times. Gravity Talks and Gas Food Lodging are their best albums - but are not on spotify or qobuz at this point. The early self titled eps are also great. Avoid the later albums (the ones available on streaming) - boring as hell.

here are two early GoR tracks from spotify comps:

I had one of their recordings, but I only remember one tune, "You Could Not Get Arrested If You Tried." Thought I had it on my hard drive but it is not popping up?
